The Horse Council and Regional Parks Foundation join the equestrian community in mourning the loss of Joe Anderson.

Please join us on October 3rd for the rescheduled Mark West Trail Ride for an exclusive preview ride through the 1,192-acre Mark West Creek Regional Park & Open Space Preserve before it opens to the public.

We’ll enjoy a relaxed walking ride through this stunning landscape, then gather with fellow riders for lunch under the oaks.

* Gate opens at 8:30 a.m. | Ride out at 9:30 a.m.

* Mark West Creek Regional Park & Open Space Preserve

* Limited to just 25 riders* Ride + Lunch: $100 per person

* Lunch Only: $35 per person

* Trailer parking is limited, so trailer pooling is encouraged.

Proceeds benefit the Sonoma County Horse Council and Sonoma County Parks Foundation.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a walking ride for seasoned trail horses. Riders should bring water for themselves and their horses. Horses must tie to trailers, as no corrals are available. There is no creek access for horses or people, and no riderless horses are permitted. We’ll follow Leave No Trace practices throughout the ride.

The event is subject to cancellation due to weather as determined by Regional Parks. A required Release of Liability will be emailed after registration.

With only 25 riding spots available, we expect this special ride to fill quickly.
